Although I was not happy about my car breaking down after only four years they explained the procedure and ordered and fitted a new mechatronic unit. They handled the situation very well as usual and returned the car to me repaired and cleaned. Pulman Volkswagen (Sunderland) are excellent to deal with and give me confidence about the Volkswagen brand. Unfortunately my this major breakdown has reduced my confidence in the reliability of Volkswagen Golfs.

Car was booked for service. Warning light came on. Stopped at Durham, engineer looked and recommended not to drive. Reception offered to change booked service for the next day and fix the problem the warning light was highlighting. A driver was made available to take me home. The car was ready early the next day, the main part was under warranty, so much cheaper than expected. Car was returned to my home. Reception contacted me twice to keep me informed. I received the courtesy inspection video and was able to authorise work. All told, I was delighted with the quality of the work and the communication from the staff.
